Mar Gassó Ordaz

Graduated in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Barcelona (2012-2017), she has been part of the IBADE team since 2018.

He has previously worked in the Endocrinology and Nutrition service of the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona, ​​​​providing nutritional support for hospitalized patients and preparing group nutritional education sessions for obese patients candidates for bariatric surgery, training sessions on dysphagia and on management of home enteral nutrition.

He currently focuses his interest on dietary preparation and monitoring of patients undergoing obesity surgery and on specific diets (gluten-free, vegan/vegetarian, and adapted to autoimmune pathologies). Conducts educational group workshops aimed at patients undergoing obesity surgery.

He has a high degree of empathy, professionalism and commitment to coaching and patient motivation. His training in micronutrition and his knowledge of the impact of diet on cellular health and disease allow him to design dietary plans that are completely adapted and beneficial for different pathologies.
